On March 28th, Campus Academy began a mobile school in order to connect with students who were unable to access the curriculum through google classroom. The purpose of the Mobile school was to connect with students, provide a Chromebook and/or hard copies of the curriculum. Additionally it allowed us to connect with students who we were unable to reach via phone, email or text. I am proud to report that we have made contact with 92% of our student body.
The mobile school has served the following communities:
Stoneham
Melrose
Lowell
Wakefield
Chelsea
Amesbury
Lynn
Lawrence
Salem
Waltham
Springfield
Newburyport
Arlington
The mobile school will continue on Wednesday and Friday until it is no longer needed. The students who we are unable to connect with, so far, are students who are homeless or have not responded to all attempts including going to the home.
