Work Opportunities Unlimited provides community-based employment services consisting of resume development, interview training, application writing, career planning, job placement, work assessments, and job site supports.
These services are customized to meet the needs of each individual and are provided to both students and adults. Our progressive strategies in job development combined with the use of technology has resulted in successful employment results in 7 states.
About the Agency
Since 1982, Work Opportunities Unlimited has been providing job placement and training services to those with disabilities and various challenges to employment. We currently provide services throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Florida. Since the late 1990s, WOU has been providing transition services to hundreds of school districts across all territories. Being both an adult service provider and a provider of transition services puts us in a unique position to assist students while in school and in the adult service system.
Who is Eligible?
Work Opportunities Unlimited has a non-exclusionary policy and will work with the both youths and adults to identify avenues for funding that will support the level of service being requested. If funding opportunities aren't available, private funding is acceptable.
