THE SHRAVANE CORRIDOR
The site comprises a pair of residences that the Shravane family owns. One of these homes is over a century old, while the other is relatively new, having been constructed only a few years ago. The homes are situated amidst expansive fields on one side, while the village lies on the other.
Based on observahared tap near ttions made, it hhe new one.as been noted that both family members and members of the community tend to frequent the veranda and angan of the older house, while utilizing a commonly sharedar the new dwelling.Â
The design process commenced with the creation of separate zones at varying levels to cater to different activities. The primary objective was to establish a public-private pathway between the two houses. Furthermore, these levels were integrated with playful elements to enhance the overall landscape.
