SITE ANALYSIS
The existing house in Bot village, Saphale district, is a load-bearing structure constructed with bricks and kaarvi. Its roof is a combination of asbestos sheets and Mangalore tiles. This traditional construction method reflects the indigenous building practices of the Malhar Koli Adivasi community. Despite its sturdy construction, the house may lack modern amenities and may require maintenance due to the materials used. However, it stands as a testament to the cultural heritage and resourcefulness of its inhabitants, who have adapted their dwellings to suit their needs and surroundings within the constraints of available resources and government schemes.Â
