Maverick Brigade Colorguard

The colorguard is an essential part of the marching band (Maverick Brigade).  Students will learn fundamentals of dance (similar to dance class and cheerleading) as well as perform multiple times throughout the year.  You can come in as a beginner with no dance experience or have years of formal dance instruction! 

Mavericks Winterguard

The Mavericks Winterguard is an extension of the colorgaurd program in the Maverick Brigade (Marching Band) and works throughout the winter months on continuing to learn about dance and create a dynamic competitive show for competitions in Southern California.  This group is open to any students at LCC, SDA and the local district middle schools.  This program operates much like a sport and is not affiliated with a class.  The group rehearses twice a week and the season runs from December through the end of March.  

2025 Rehearsal Schedule:

Monday/Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 PM starting on Thursday, January 9th in the LCC Band Room

2025 Show Dates:

Sat, February 15th @ Mission Hills HS

Sat, March 15th @ Murrieta Mesa HS

Sat, March 29th @ Champs TBD

Colorguard Summer Camp 2025
