LCC Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is an after school program and will start rehearsals early to mid November after the conclusion of the competitive marching band season.   The LCC Jazz Band will consist of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, drum set, piano, bass guitar and guitar.  The members of the ensemble will play through a wide variety of jazz repertoire as well as learn about the history, improvisation and the current state of jazz.  The jazz band will perform at school concerts and a few festivals in the spring.  This ensemble will be expected to prepare their music during the time in between rehearsals as the group will only rehearse once a week.  Make sure to check the calendar for dates and times of upcoming events (check frequently as dates and times will be added and modified).
