If you received a voicemail or email that your student was marked Absent, but they were in class, please follow these steps.
Contact the teacher by email [cc: CCAAttendance@SDUHSD.net] and let the teacher know that there is an error in their Attendance. The email should include:
the Student's full name
the Period Class and
the Date of the error
The student should ask the teacher to confirm attendance and email the Attendance office to correct.
The Attendance office is only able to update attendance if they receive an email from the Teacher asking to correct the student's attendance.
Please check the Tardy page if your student is constantly being marked Absent because they are arriving late to class.
Sample email to send to the teacher:
To: [teacher email]@SDUHSD.net
Dear Teacher,
I, [insert student name], was marked absent on [insert date of error] in your Period [insert Period class]. I was [insert how to fix, present in class, late to class, sitting in the wrong seat, college presentation etc...].
Please confirm my attendance and email CCAAttendance@sduhsd.net so they can update my attendance.
