SDSSU-Graduate School Comprehensive Examination Application
A student shall be dropped from his/her class when his/her absences exceed three meetings or equivalent to nine (9) hours in a semester, absences exemptions such as: death among immediate family and hospitalization. Other Valid reason for his/her absence has to be determined by the professor.
Attendance to other major activities of the graduate school which involve graduate school students’ participation such as: graduate school orientation, graduate school induction and acquaintance program, colloquium , thesis and dissertation seminar and similar activities in research and extension of the graduate school is requiring the attendance of all of concern students; thus, any exceptions to this policy must be put in writing by the student through the professor, graduate school coordinator or Dean of the graduate school who may then consider such an exception supported with valid documents which justify the absence or exception to the above-major activity/ies of the graduate school.(Refer,GM p.31other requirements 5.7.1 &5.7.2)
