Important Updates: Friday, October 3rd: Amazing job at our second jamboree Eagles! Some great Ultimate and teamwork last Wednesday.

• Next week we have our final practice of the season! This will be an inters quad game and Timbits will be supplied to help us celebrate the end of our season. See you there!

Important Updates: Wednesday, September 24th: Amazing job at our first jamboree Eagles! Some great Ultimate and teamwork at Lansdowne today.

• Next week we have the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation holiday on Tuesday and there is no school. As such, practice has been moved to Wednesday morning at 8:00AM.

• A reminder that jamboree #2: Weds Oct 1st @ ROMS (3:30pm - 5:00pm) is the same day after school and we are hosting at Royal Oak.

Important Updates: Monday, September 22nd: A reminder to all students/players participating in Ultimate this year of the following items for this week and next:

• All players must have returned the permission form linked below to participate. 

• Jamboree for the next two weeks have been confirmed:

    #1: Weds Sept 24th @ Lansdowne Middle School (3:30-5:00pm)     

    #2: Weds Oct 1st @ ROMS (3:30pm - 5:00pm)

• We travel to Lansdowne Middle School on Wednesday for an away game. Parents are responsible for all aspects of transportation to and from this away game. Please plan accordingly.

Important Updates: Thursday, September 18th - Jamboree # 2 has been determined and confirmed! On Wednesday October 1st, we will be hosting here at ROMS so transportation will not be required on that date. Our next practice is Tuesday, September 23rd, morning at 8:00AM after the extended weekend due to the Pro-D day on Monday. A reminder to players and parents that they are responsible for all aspects of transportation to and from Jamboree #1 at Lansdowne Middle School on Wednesday, September 24th next week and that participation/field trip permission forms are required to be handed in. Important Updates: Tuesday, September 16th - At this point we have had several practices and our team is coming together! Students are becoming familiar with the rules of play, skills and techniques for passing and catching, and some basic on field strategies for game play. Unfortunately, it looks like we will need to travel next week for our first jamboree on Wednesday, September 24th after school. Students will be able to leave school at 2:50pm to travel to away games and parents are fully responsible for all aspects of transportation to and from the away school we will play at. Please contact Mr. Menzies if you have any questions (imenzies@saanichschools.ca). Mr. Menzies will meet students at this location and distribute jerseys there. It is recommended that players bring a water bottle, warm clothing, and a snack at away games. Also, please look at the weather forecast ahead of time and prepare for rain or cold/hot temperatures if necessary.
