Please familiar yourselves with the qualification process below
Events begin at 4 pm – estimate 6:00 finish
- Track events are run oldest to youngest in the order listed below.
- Field events are run youngest to oldest in the order listed below
Athletes must attend the meet In which their events are offered In order to qualify. There are no make up days!
League Meet #1 - Thursday, May 8th
Track Events :800m, 200m, 2000m
Field Events: Girls Long Jump, Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put, High Jump – boys gr. 6/7
League Meet #2 - Thursday, May 15th
Track Events: 100 m, 4x100m – practice - no timers (self-time)
Field events:Triple jump – girls, Triple jump – boys, High Jump – girls gr 6/7
League Meet #3 - Monday May 26
Track Events: Sprint hurdles in lanes 3 – 9, 1200 m, 300 m
Field Events: Boys Long Jump, Girls Discus
Boys Shot put, High Jump – All Grade 8
League Meet #4 - Wednesday, May 28
Track Events: 2000m Final, 4X100 relay qualifying, 4×200 practice
Field Events: Boys Discus final
80m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 4×100, and 1200m: 2 flights (A,B), Top 8 times will be entered into A flight, next 8 times will enter B flight.
Qualifiers for the 2000m and Boys Discus final on May 28th will be indicated in the results website
Field Events: Top 12 qualify
School and individual Qualifying limits:
-Relays – - there is a maximum of 2 teams per school per category (4×200 and 4×100)
-A maximum 3 athletes per school will be allowed to compete in any (all) individual events
-individual athletes may qualify in a max of 3 individual events + 2 relays
If an athlete “no shows” at an event for which they have been qualified for and entered into, they are disqualified from all other events.
