Rowing is done for the 2025-2026 season.
Sign-up will happen again in September 2026 for students in grade 7 and 8.
VCRC has upcoming programs if your child is interested in trying rowing. The Winter Camp is November 17-December 20, 2025
There will also be a Claremont CSI "Try Rowing" day in November 2025 - details to come.
Key Information
Students who are new to rowing must be in grade 7 or 8. Grade 6 students with prior rowing experience in after school or summer camps may join.
If you will miss more than half of practices it is not recommended you join as changing numbers alter the way coaches are prepared to run the program.
This is an introduction to rowing, there will be no official competitions.
Families are responsible for organizing rides and having students to the boathouse 10-15 minutes before practice begins so they can change and be ready for the day to begin. Late arrivals affect the division of boats, coaches, and time on the water.
