Key Information
Students who are new to rowing must be in grade 7 or 8. Grade 6 students with prior rowing experience in after school or summer camps may join.
If you will miss more than half of practices it is not recommended you join as changing numbers alter the way coaches are prepared to run the program.
This is an introduction to rowing, there will be no official competitions.
Families are responsible for organizing rides and having students to the boathouse 10-15 minutes before practice begins so they can change and be ready for the day to begin. Late arrivals affect the division of boats, coaches, and time on the water.
School Liaison - Morgan Lochhead (grade 6 teacher), Coaches are athletes in the Claremont rowing program
