If you are unable to make a practice or game, please let your coach know asap.
Please make sure you know what team you are on and when you practice.
LIMSSA is committed to ensuring that all student-athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers involved
in LIMSSA activities have the opportunity to participate in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Spectators are encouraged and welcomed to attend Middle School Sporting activities, and as guests of
the host school, will come within the authority of the host school. Spectators are expected to conduct
themselves in a manner which supports the values of LIMSSA, and encourages the development of all
student-athletes.
Spectators must:
Treat everyone with respect
cheer in a positive manner for all competitors
respect the decision of officials without dispute
not interfere with the play or competition
be courteous and respectful to other spectators, all competitors, coaches, event organizer and officials.
Exercise self-control at all times
respect the rules and regulations of the facility
refrain from the use of foul or profane language and/or gestures
refrain from the use of physical force of any kind
remain in designated spectator zones at event locations
abstain from the use of tobacco products and alcohol while in the presence of student-athletes
Never use social networking to criticize or threaten another school team, coach, player, game official or LIMSSA.
The host school has the authority and right to remove any individual who does not respect this
code of conduct or as requested by a match official. All individuals who have been removed from
a LIMSSA activity will be reported to the athletic coordinator’s office. Any individuals who have
been removed from a LIMSSA activity by the host school or an official will not be allowed to
attend any future LIMSSA activities at any school facility without the written consent of the
LIMSSA Executive.
Spectator Communication Protocol:
If a spectator has a complaint about an official, a coach or athlete, they shall communicate this
complaint directly to their school’s athletic director. The athletic director, along with the athletic
coordinator or school administrator, will address this complaint accordingly to the appropriate
personnel.
