Pain Point

Technology in education is not only prominent in many 21st century classrooms, but ever more visible now that many classes have gone online, or at least have been forced online at some point during the global pandemic. As a consequence, teachers scrambled to connect with their students remotely, and the potential of technology was central in their hope. However, with this great power comes great responsibility. This is where FPF's leadership and mentorship intercedes. Just like in the expansive wild west of North America’s past, FPF could be seen as the sheriff in the land of data protection where technology has been hustled into our lives, including education, void of several law-abiding spaces. Although there are several for profit companies helping out in the field of privacy and data protection in the EdTech sector, FPF offers a unique approach through their nonprofit organization, especially in education.
