Article II: Student Government Advisor

Purpose: The purpose of the Student Government Advisor shall be to outline class expectations, counsel the Executive Government, determine and award Letters, and aid in the development of leadership.

Qualifications: The Student Government Advisor must be a member of Brighton High School Faculty who has been appointed by an interview committee made up of various leaders and administrators of Brighton High School.

Duties: The Student Government Advisor shall -

Advise the Student Government of administration rules and regulations.

Mediate between the Student Government, administration, and the student body.

Sign all documents including permits, reimbursements, purchase orders, contracts and proposals.

Attend all Student Government sponsored events and/or find another faculty member to do so.

Responsible for class instruction and grading.

Responsible for aid in the election process.

Ordering all supplies through Amazon.

Be responsible for awarding Letters.
