Colorado High School Activities Association Mission Statement: “In pursuit of excellence, the Colorado High School Activities Association strives to create a positive and equitable environment in which all qualified student participants are challenged and inspired to meet their highest potential.”
Brighton High School Vision Statement: “Sparking curiosity that drives academic excellence while uniting our community through respect and kindness.”
Name: This organization shall be known as Brighton High School Student Government.
Goals: The organization shall propose one or more goals each year in the following areas in an effort to improve Brighton High School- student voice, service to others, community engagement, leadership development, or as designed by the Student Government.
Mascot: The official mascot of Brighton High School is the English Bulldog.
Colors: The official colors of Brighton High School are Cherry Red, and White.
Fight Song: The official Fight Song of Brighton High School is “Fight BHS”.
Membership: The membership shall be made up of an Executive Government and general representatives being advised by an advisor.
Format: Student Government shall be a student-run and led class during a designated class period in the school day supervised by an advisor. The representatives of the Student Government will be required to participate in out of class activities as well.
