As part of the Incredible Edibles program we are planting some vegetables this year. Along with the seeds sent to us, we also are trying some others.
We have sown: Lettuce, Spinach, Carrots, Spring Onion and Beetroot.
While in the garden we checked out the signs of spring - from right to left below you can see periwinkles, cleavers/stickybacks, celandines, dandelions, tulips and hyacinths, 3 cornered leek/wild garlic and calendula.
We tried some wild garlic - the opinions were mixed, but most enjoyed the garlic-y onion taste!
