Happy World Book Day 5th Class!
We're taking a break from our normal activities to allow you to explore what World Book Day has to offer. It's a celebration of books, imagination and reading so if you do only one thing today MAKE SURE YOU READ!
So, first up get today's "Numbed" reading completed - chapter 6 and 7. Then there's a host of amazing activities for you to get your teeth into - masterclasses from famous writers, tips on how to create your own book, competitions, audiobooks...loads to choose from. We will have no spellings, WOW words, Gaeilge or English in Practice today to allow you to explore these activities so please choose a few and we can talk about them tomorrow.
Our only other activity is p164 Busy at Maths (polyhedra) and Work it Out Thursday.
See you all at 11am everyone for a Scavenger Hunt and little quiz - come dressed up if you can, or with a picture of your favourite character from the world of books.
