These are some suggested online/offline activities to keep the children working. They are optional and they do not all have to be completed as we do not wish to add further stress to family life during these unprecedented times.
This week you can do some activities from Maths, English and Irish and you can choose one other activity from one of the following subjects: SESE, STEM, SPHE, PE, Arts and Religion.
There is an option to email a picture of work or send an email about work completed to the teacher on a Friday only if you wish. You can tell us about what activities you enjoyed.

Who’s shoes? Pretend to take out an imaginary pair of shoes out and pretend to put them on (a ballerina will lace up to her knees, a firefighter will pull on high boots etc.). Then, silently, act out the character (dance, put out fires, climb ladders etc.) Can someone in your house guess the character? Challenge someone else to do it with you.

Listen to the music from the section you have chosen two or three times before answering 2 or 3 of the questions below:
What room in the house would you hear this sounds?
What kind of sounds can you hear?
What objects or actions do you think are making the sounds?
Can you hear any of these sounds in your house now?
Can you compose or create a simple, short piece using items from your kitchen? You could involve other family members and you may record it.
We celebrate Mother Mary in May. To pray to Mother Mary we often say the rosary. The rosary is a really powerful prayer and Mother Mary makes lots of promises to us if we say the rosary each day.
Learn to say 1 decade of the rosary. This can be recited daily.
To pray 1 decade you say:
1 Our Father prayer (the children have been taught this prayer at school)
10 Hail Mary prayers (the children have been taught this prayer at school)
Glory Be prayer
The Glory Be prayer: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As in was in the beginning, is now, and every shall be, world without end. Amen.
