You are going to be photographing a meal of your choice You can either do a favorite meal, dessert, side dish, starter. You can either make the food yourself of purchase something from the store.
Please use the following props-
some sort of plate/ something to put it on
some sort of utensil(s)
some sort of napkin (s)
some sort of background (tablecloth, butcher paper, etc)
anything else that will add to your image
**DO NOT just photograph a bag of Doritos or a single piece of fruit like an apple.
Due
3 Different food setups 3 images for each setup (9 images) + 1 shot of your choice from any of your setups (10 total)
Shot 1. Above the food- birds eye view keeping in mind of EVERYTHING within the frame.
Shot 2. 45 degree angle view of the food, (shooting above food with camera pointing at the food on about a 45 degree angle" with an interesting background- using props.)
Shot 3. front view of the food, with an interesting background- using props.

*You are not required to purchase anything for this project, you can use what you have at home.
*If you can't cook get someone to help you or purchase food instead
** You may want to think about getting some parchment paper from the grocery store to put on your window if you need to diffuse the light (see link below)
**you want to make your own reflector as well (see link in google classroom) you can also use plain white foamboard as a reflector

You will be graded on the following:
Correct Naming Convention: LastName_FirstName_ProjectName-##.jpeg
There will be 1 grade per for this assignment
Turning in 1-3 images on the assigned due date
Correctly capturing the assignment specifications
Creating unique compositions with interesting subject matter
Quality of retouching
Use of the Elements of Art: Color, Form, Line, Shape, Space, Texture, Value
Use of the Principles of Design: Balance, Contrast, Emphasis, Movement (Rhythm), Perspective, Repetition (Pattern), Unity
*** Photos taken in or around school are prohibited unless they are in the studio
*** Plan out your photo shoots do now wait until the night before the photos are due to take your photos, pay attention to the weather
***DO NOT TURN IN MULTIPLE ANGLES OF THE SAME SHOT. EACH SHOT MUST BE UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT.
