Adams’ mixed Concert Choir is chosen by a competitive audition process including a vocal audition and vocal exercises. The Concert Choir performs literature of various styles and genres. Emphasis will be placed on intonation, vocal production, performance technique, etiquette and music literacy. 

The Concert Choir performs throughout the community, collaborating with other choral ensembles and participating in ISSMA Solo & Ensemble as well as ISSMA Organizational Contest in April.

Ladies will wear a black floor length dress for concerts/performances provided by the choral department. Students will provide black dress shoes (heels or flats), black nylons (can be knee highs) and a small single strand pearl necklace. 

Gentlemen will be provided black tux pants, white tux shirt, black vest and black bow tie by the choral department. Students will provide black dress shoes and black socks.

There is a $20 annual fee to participate in Concert Choir to help cover the cost of music and other expenses related to Concert Choir (i.e. posters for advertising, Organizational Contest, etc).
