Band

 The band program at John Adams offers four ensembles: concert band, jazz band, marching band,  and pep band. Both concert band and jazz band classes meet daily for 0 and 1st hours.  The marching band rehearses and competes from late summer through November and the pep band rehearses and performs during basketball season, from late November through February. To be eligible for concert band, all students are required to participate in marching band for their first year at the high school. The John Adams band has performed throughout the state, Notre Dame, and won numerous awards for jazz, concert, and marching band.
