A diploma of graduation shall be granted to students who complete the high school curriculum requirements and meet the District graduation proficiency standards.
Students at Santa Ana High School High School must earn 220 credits, complete senior portfolio, 40 hours of community service and FAFSA/Dream ACT.
All students will receive a progress report every 6 weeks prior to the end of the semester. Progress reports will not appear on your permanent transcript, they are to be used to help a student and parent navigate what needs to be done to improve your grade(s).
All students will receive semester grades twice a year, once in December and once in May. All semester grades are permanent and will appear on your transcript.
Every class is worth 5 credits, if passed with an A,B,C,D.
Students are traditionally registered for 6 classes each semester (30 credits per semester).
Students receiving an F will earn no credit (0 credit), and course(s) must be recovered.
In order to receive a SAHS diploma students must earn a minimum of 220 credits in the required courses.
