School Breakfast and Lunch Program
Breakfast and lunch are served on a daily basis at Little Harbour School and follow federal nutritional guidelines.
Student may opt to eat breakfast at school. The cafeteria opens at 7:40 AM.
Children may bring their own lunch or get a hot lunch from the cafeteria during their lunch period. Those bringing their own lunch may purchase milk or chocolate milk. Water will be available for those that want it; we encourage students to bring a reusable water bottle to lunch for this purpose.
A "Grab and Go" cold lunch will be available on scheduled Early Release Days in place of hot lunch.
All students will be issued a lunch ticket that will be available for purchasing lunch or milk. Payment goes through a debit system called MySchoolBucks; you can add money to your child's account online or send in a check payable to Portsmouth School Nutrition Department. You can also set up alerts for low balances or automatic payments through this system.
Current meal prices can be viewed on the Nutrition Department's website.
Menus
A monthly menu will be available through a link on ParentSquare, through the Nutrislice school lunch app, as well as on the school department website (found here). Menus are subject to change based on ingredient availability. Changes will be announced ahead of time whenever possible.
