Celebrations

Birthdays

Invitations can be sent in to share with the whole class. If you are not inviting the whole class, we ask that you mail or distribute invitations outside of school.

Teachers will recognize birthdays in their classroom communities. We ask that you refrain from sending in treats to share at school.

Assemblies

As a school community, we will have All School Assemblies on Early Release days. This opportunity gives us the chance to share a common experience, reflect on themes or special messages, and build our collective "Little Harbour School" identity. We will share messages from these assemblies with the larger community through our newsletters.

At certain times during the year, we will invite parents to join us for celebrations of learning or performances that are grade specific. This may be a poetry reading, a play, or a presentation of projects.
