Entrepreneurship Week 2020
In celebration of Entrepreneurship Week, Intuit Education and CCTE hosted the events below.
A great opportunity to gain valuable skills and excellent experience to add to your resume and communicate in college and job or internship applications!
The Social Entrepreneurship Challenge
All SDUSD students in grades 9-12 are invited and will be led by an Intuit Education Innovation Catalyst through the design thinking process to address issues that impact your local community.
November 17th and 18th
Tuesday, November 17 - 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. : Select your goal area of focus, meet your team and learn the design thinking process!
Wednesday, November 18 - 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. : Focus on Solutions and Communicate Your Team Idea and Solution
Choose from one of the following goal areas:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well Being for All
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
SDG 13: Climate Action
Learn more about all of the Sustainable Development Goals, at the UN's 17 goals site.
All participants will earn a certificate of recognition, a Starbucks gift card, winning teams will earn great prizes!

Career Readiness Conference
November 19, 2020 ~ 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Participate in this unique opportunity to attend a Career Readiness Conference hosted by SDUSD CCTE and Intuit Education.
Event will feature an opportunity to hear from Keynote Speaker ~ DAYMOND JOHN ~ of SharkTank and founder of Fubu.
All attendees will also experience a session on: Finding Your Why.
Choose from the following career sessions to learn more about careers in the following areas. You will have an opportunity to attend two career sessions and meet individuals in these careers:

Project Management
Engineering | Coding

Accounting | Finance

Social Entrepreneurship Challenge - Information Slides
Over 600 students participated in the Social Entrepreneurship Challenge. All students who participated received a certificate of achievement.
The winning team for each Sustainable Development Goal were announced at the Career Readiness Conference.
