About Me

I graduated from Scripps Ranch High School and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara. I earned my Master’s degree in Special Education, teaching credentials (Moderate/Severe and Mild/Moderate), and admin credential from San Diego State University. Go Aztecs!

I have teaching experience at Marvin Elementary and Patrick Henry High School. I have previous administrative experience as a Vice Principal at Challenger Middle School and was the principal at Marvin Elementary. I worked out of the district office with STEAM Innovation coordinating partnerships and work based learning opportunities prior to joining CCTE.

My wife Melissa and I are extremely proud of our eight year old daughter Siena who is currently in 3rd grade at Silver Gate Elementary in Point Loma. We enjoy spending time together traveling and visiting the many special places throughout San Diego County. I am an avid sports fan and root for all San Diego teams.
