SAIS welcomes university visits on campus
Welcome to Stamford's College Counseling Department!
Thank you for your interest in visiting our campus. Typically we welcome 200+ university representatives from around the world each year, with the majority coming from the USA, the UK, Singapore, Europe, Australia, Canada and Japan.
Below you will find some logistical and useful information to help you plan your trip. We look forward to hosting you soon!
How to schedule a visit
College representatives, we encourage you to schedule visits on CIALFO Explore using the following URL: https://explore.cialfo.co/schedule-appointment/stamford-american-international-school. This is our school's unique URL through which we accept visit requests. If you're not on the platform, please contact Academic & College Counselor, Ms Rin Kim at rin.kim@sais.edu.sg

Preferred Visit Time
Monday & Friday 12.10PM - 1PM (or 4 - 4.30PM)
The best time of day to visit our campus is during the High School lunch period from 12:10pm-1pm or after classes from 3:50pm-4:30pm. Visits are normally hosted in the College Counseling Office area (F6-05).
The busiest time of the school year is season August - October. During this period, we may have to request you to share your visit slot with another visiting university if we have multiple requests to visit on the same day. We are also able to accommodate larger presentations, but this must be arranged beforehand. Please note that we are unable to host holiday programme representatives.
Traveling to SAIS
It is possible to get to our school on the Singapore MRT (subway). It takes about 15 minutes of travel time from Orchard Road MRT to Woodleigh MRT (purple line) including the 5 minute walk to our campus.
If you wish to pre-book a taxi, you can call the major taxi companies at 6552 1111 or 6555 8888, or feel free to use Grab or Gojek apps. A taxi ride from the downtown area to Stamford will cost you about S$10-20 or US$7-15 depending on what time of day you are travelling.
Please bring a photo ID other than your passport with you since you will be asked to exchange an ID card for a visitor's pass at the security gate. The security office will contact College Counseling department to let them know that you have arrived.
It is usually possible for university representatives to visit one or two other schools in the day, in addition to Stamford. Here is a LINK about other local and international schools in Singapore.
