Academic & College Counseling Team

The Academic and College Counseling program at Stamford is designed to support students with exploring, considering, and eventually prepare for, their academic and post-high school plans.

With the philosophy of finding good "fit" colleges, the program builds on the student journey of self-exploration and reflection towards making distinctions in and outside the classroom. In the final year, students complete their applications to universities worldwide before selecting their destinations.

Throughout the four years, all students are encouraged to see their A&C Counselors, who are dedicated to supporting them with a successful and positive post-high school process.

Rin Kim

Rin Kim hails from South Korea and is a driven, dedicated educator who takes pride in her role as a college counselor. As an international student, Rin had a transformative tertiary experience at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which has led her to pursue her passion in education a little more seriously.
