STAMFORD CAREER DAY
Does your dream job even exist yet?
At Stamford, our parent network and the structure of our school has allowed us to be uniquely positioned to be preparing our students for an uncertain, ever-changing world; especially within the context of advancements within science, tech, entrepreneurship, and corporate innovation.
Academic & College Counseling Team presents the Stamford Career Day to expose curious and ambitious Stamford students to careers of the future—from advancement in science and tech, to innovation in big biz, and the future of entrepreneurship.
This 3-part event series features career professionals from a variety of innovative spaces—such as Microsoft, Meta, and more—with the most cutting edge careers of today, and creating the jobs of tomorrow.
What to expect:
Listen to thoughtfully moderated conversations with featured industry guests, Stamford parents, and HS faculty
Learn how to secure internships, prepare for emerging careers, and set yourself up for future success
Ask your questions during designated Q&A sessions
Through the event, students get to:
Learn about the skills that employers tell us they want to see in the future workforce, but aren't directly baked into the school curriculum
Build a network of like-minded students in their cohort
Develop relationships with mentors who are founders, researchers and leaders at the coolest companies in the world
Build differentiated lens and approaches to separate you from the crowd of students vying for the same opportunities
Give you the confidence and mindset to crush anything you do in high school and beyond
