Meeting 1: Kick-Off and Introduction (Oct. 9)

• Agenda:

  • Welcome and introductions

  • Overview of the task force's purpose and goals

  • Initial discussion on what students enjoy about the current tech curriculum and areas for improvement

Meeting 2: Gathering Insights (Nov. 13)

• Agenda:

  • Recap of previous meeting

  • Group brainstorm on potential topics and tools that could enhance the tech curriculum

Meeting 4: Designing the Curriculum Enhancements (Feb. 26)

• Agenda:

  • Develop detailed plans for the top priority projects: based on the surveys, select 4 topics/projects to recommend adding to the curriculum (2 for 8th grade and 2 for 7th grade)

  • Outline goals, required resources, and expected outcomes for each project

  • Assign roles and responsibilities

Meeting 5: Implementation Planning (Mar. 26)

• Agenda:

  • Finalize implementation plans

  • Set timelines and milestones for each project

  • Prepare a presentation or proposal for school administration to seek approval or resources

Meeting 6: Review and Feedback (Apr. 16)

• Agenda:

  • Discuss the progress of any ongoing implementations

  • Solicit feedback on any trial sessions or projects that have been launched

  • Adjust plans based on feedback and any new ideas

Meeting 7: Preparing for Showcase (May 14)

• Agenda:

  • Prepare for a showcase of the task force's work to the tech classes

  • Review all projects and prepare presentation materials

  • Practice presentations within the group

Meeting 8: Year-End Review and Next Steps (May. 28)

• Agenda:

  • Conduct a showcase of the new initiatives and their outcomes

  • Reflect on the year's achievements and challenges

  • Discuss and document suggestions for the next school year's task force
