Objective: You will learn and be able to recall numbers 1-20 and the days of the week in French.
Activities:
Number or Day Freeze Dance
Description: Dance to French music, and when the music stops, I'll call out a number or a day in French. You must freeze and either say the next number or day in sequence aloud.
Song: Various French children's songs will play during the dance, pausing randomly to challenge your recall and response.
Circle Time: Days
Description: We'll sit in a circle, and you'll pass around a soft toy. When you hold the toy, say the next day of the week in order. This helps you learn the sequence of the days in a fun and collaborative setting.
Song: "Les jours de la semaine" will play softly in the background to reinforce the days as we go along. Video 2 || Video 3
Introduction to Numbers with Song
Description: We'll go through numbers 1-20 together using flashcards. Repeat each number after me, focusing on pronunciation.
Song: "Un, Deux, Trois" - A fun song that counts from 1 to 20 in French, which we'll listen to and sing along with to help memorize the numbers.
Calendar Creation
Description: Using the days you've learned, create a weekly calendar in French. Label the days and mark special events or personal reminders in French to apply what you've learned in a practical context.

Numbers Song: "Un, Deux, Trois" - Helps with memorizing numbers through a catchy melody.
Days Song: "Les jours de la semaine" - Used to memorize the days of the week, enhancing your ability to recall and use them in daily conversation.

1. Introduction and Recap (10 minutes)

Welcome: I'll greet you with "Bonjour" and use other greetings like "Salut" and "Bienvenue."
Activity: We'll review the greetings and introduction phrases from our last session with flashcards showing "Bonjour," "Salut," "Bienvenue," "Au revoir," "Merci," "Je m'appelle," and "Comment t'appelles-tu?"
Practice: Pair up and practice these phrases in a simulated conversation.

2. Teaching Numbers 1-20 (10 minutes)
Introduction: I will show you flashcards and we will go through numbers 1-20 together.
Repetition: Repeat each number after me, focusing on pronunciation.
Song: "Number song" - We'll listen and sing along to a song that counts from 1 to 20 in French. Video 2 || Video 3
3. Number or Day Freeze Dance (15 minutes)
Game Explanation: Dance to French music, and when the music stops, I'll call out a number or day in French.
Response: You must freeze and either say the next number or day in sequence aloud.
Song: We'll play various French children's songs during the dance, making each pause a surprise!
4. Introduction to Days of the Week (10 minutes)
Teaching: I'll introduce the days of the week using another set of flashcards.
