French Song: “L'Alphabet en Français” (The ABC Song) to introduce the French alphabet.

Objective: You will learn and be able to recall numbers 1-20 and the days of the week in French.
Activities:
Number or Day Freeze Dance
Description: Dance to French music, and when the music stops, I'll call out a number or a day in French. You must freeze and either say the next number or day in sequence aloud.
Song: Various French children's songs will play during the dance, pausing randomly to challenge your recall and response.
Circle Time Days
Description: We'll sit in a circle, and you'll pass around a soft toy. When you hold the toy, say the next day of the week in order. This helps you learn the sequence of the days in a fun and collaborative setting.
Song: "Les jours de la semaine" will play softly in the background to reinforce the days as we go along.
Introduction to Numbers with Song
Description: We'll go through numbers 1-20 together using flashcards. Repeat each number after me, focusing on pronunciation.
Song: "Un, Deux, Trois" - A fun song that counts from 1 to 20 in French, which we'll listen to and sing along with to help memorize the numbers.
Calendar Creation
Description: Using the days you've learned, create a weekly calendar in French. Label the days and mark special events or personal reminders in French to apply what you've learned in a practical context.
