Webpage Design

Webpage Design: Students will learn the foundational elements of web development by creating and styling their own web pages using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) for structure and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for design. They will be able to create visually appealing and functional websites. 

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the basic structure of HTML and how it organizes content on a webpage.

• Learn how to style webpages with CSS, enhancing their visual design through color, layout, and typography.

• Apply creativity and technical skills to personalize websites, making them interactive and engaging.

• Use practical coding skills to add "cool" effects such as customized fonts, backgrounds, hover effects, and responsive design.

1. Introduction to HTML:

   • Basic tags (headings, paragraphs, links, images)

   • Structuring a webpage using HTML elements

   • Embedding links and media (images, videos)

2. Introduction to CSS:

   • Styling HTML elements (colors, fonts, and spacing)

   • Layout design using CSS (margins, padding, borders)

   • Adding hover effects and animations

   • Introduction to responsive design (making websites mobile-friendly)

3. Practical Application:

   • Students will implement the provided code snippets and create a personal webpage.

   • Incorporate CSS to make their websites "cool," including effects like hover animations and personalized themes.
