Bus Driver appreciation
Homestead’s Student Government recently sponsored an appreciation event for our amazing SACS Bus Drivers. Whip & Chill visited the Transportation Office, and the drivers were served a cold treat of their choice. The best part of the event was the opportunity for our student representatives to thank our drivers for all they do each and every day.
Dragon Boat race
Homestead's Interact Club(pictured below) participated at the 2023 Dragon Boat Races! The "Infamous Interactors" won their race with a time of 1 minute, 22 seconds! Way to paddle, Spartans!
Spartan Alliance CarWash
The Mighty Spartan Alliance Marching Band(pictured above) held their annual car wash to raise money for their upcoming season.
Key Club's young engineers
Homestead’s Key Club hosted a Gumdrop Engineering Tent at the Taste of the Arts STEAM Park last month. Young people and their families enjoyed the challenge of creating a stand-alone structure using just toothpicks and gumdrops. Thanks to our wonderful Spartan volunteers for making this such a great experience for these future architects and engineers.
