Construction
Over the summer, there was a lot of progress made in regard to the construction at Homestead! New areas for the band, orchestra, and gyms have been freshly updated on the school map and art teachers have begun moving into their new rooms! The doors on the Homestead Road side of the school are now open (Door #33)! This opening has helped the flow of students entering the building in the morning. As for classrooms, many of the Science classrooms upstairs have been updated and in use since the first day of school. The new band, choir, dance, and orchestra areas have been a great place for the performing arts students so far! The visual arts department has recently opened for classes, filling in the newer rooms that face Homestead Road. New math classrooms will be opening up on that side of the building over the course of the semester as well.
