"Offer vs. Serve" Breakfasts

Our School Breakfast Program goes on an Offer Versus Serve (OVS) policy, which essentially says that any student getting breakfast can decline some of the options. They must take a minimum of three offered items, one of which must be a fruit or a vegetable. Everyday, the students are served milk, grains, protein, fruits, and vegetables. Some example combinations are listed below.

But just because OVS is in place, not every student has to decline anything; they can take more than the minimum required. For further questions, email Ashlee Lewis, the Director of Food Service, at alewis@sacs.k12.in.us.

Free/Reduced Meal Applications

So far this year, anyone who has applied for free or reduced meals has had their application evaluated. Emails have been sent out to all applicants on whether they qualify. Those that have not applied can do so at LINQ Connect at www.linqconnect.com.
