For this unit, we will be getting an overview of the basic building blocks of visual art- the elements of art and principles of design. Students will demonstrate understanding of the concepts by illustrating each one in an accordion book. To get started, we will make a tab on the rubric to use as a cover sheet in our art binders, then take notes, and finally, make the book.
