USATF Nebraska supports and sanctions youth meets across the state, including:
Local and association-level competitions
Qualifying meets and championships
Pathways to regional and national Junior Olympic competitions
Participation in USATF-sanctioned events requires a current USATF Youth membership.
Many youth athletes participate through USATF-affiliated clubs, which provide coaching, structured training, and team competition opportunities. Athletes may also compete as unattached if a club is not available in their area.
Clubs play a vital role in athlete development and in fostering a supportive team environment.

Welcome to USATF Nebraska Youth Athletics.
It is a privilege to serve the young athletes, families, and coaches who make our sport so special. Youth track & field and cross country provide more than competition—they teach discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence that last far beyond the finish line.
Our goal is to create opportunities for athletes of all ability levels to grow in a safe, structured, and positive environment. Whether your athlete is stepping onto the track for the first time or striving to compete at the national level, USATF Nebraska is here to support that journey.
We are proud of the clubs, coaches, officials, and volunteers who work tirelessly to make youth athletics in Nebraska a success. If you have questions about participation, eligibility, or championships, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We look forward to seeing you at the starting line.
