USATF Nebraska Open & Masters Track & Field provides competitive opportunities for adult athletes of all experience levels. Open competition is available to athletes ages 19 and older, while masters competition begins at age 25, with age divisions recognized in five-year increments. (ie. 25-29, 30-34, 35-40...)
This division welcomes everyone—from former collegiate and elite athletes to individuals discovering track & field later in life—who want to compete, improve, and stay connected to the sport.

The Track & Field Open Chair is responsible for the leadership, promotion, and administration of Open (ages 19+) track & field competition within USATF Nebraska. This position serves as the primary advocate for open division athletes and works to develop competitive opportunities that align with USATF rules and national standards.
The Open Chair works in coordination with the Association Board, Officials Chair, Coaches Chair, and other sport discipline leaders to ensure quality competition and athlete development.
The Masters Track & Field Chair is responsible for the leadership, promotion, and administration of Masters (age 25+) track & field competition within USATF Nebraska. This position serves as the primary advocate for masters athletes and works to expand participation, championship opportunities, and engagement across the state.
The Masters Chair collaborates with the Association Board and other sport discipline leaders to ensure quality competition and alignment with USATF national standards.
