Textboxes explain the images
Textboxes should explain the photo or image they are connected to. Explain what is happening in the photo or what the photo is about
Font size should be small
Textboxes should be neat and well written. Small text usually appears more professional and more grown up so select a small font size
Change your font style
You can also choose what font you want to use to change the style or match a certain theme
Change the font colour
You can change the colour of your font to match your colour scheme or website style.
Examples of Font size. Of course your can choose alternative sizes but these examples are the standard options from the textbox menu.
Regular comments detailing images or evaluating work should be 'normal text' size but could be a smaller if comments are very long. Short comments should not be written in 'heading' or 'title' fonts to make the text look longer.
'Sub-heading', 'heading' and 'title' font sizes should be used for those purposes only and not general comments - a title is a title, not a comment.
Normal text
Example comment. This is my finished design work but I still have to fine line it and render it. In my opinion I think that the development title that I drew is a little bit too small so next time I am going to make it bigger. The comments that I wrote include details about what I would change due to weaknesses and areas of strength that i want to develop further.
Choosing a font to match your work can change the appearance of your website and could make it look more individual or of a higher standard.

You should mention strenghts and weaknesses. What are the areas you want to develop further or what are the parts that need to be improved.
I would like to work on my hand written comments because the annotation over my designs needs to be neater and include more keywords.
Add and use keywords you learn and hear in class. Tools should use their correct name and the process you use to complete a task should follow the correct term.
Colour rendering, blending, colour pigment, sand paper, band facer, coping saw
Describe your work. Describe what is in the photo. You could describe what materials have been used, what machines or tools were used or what technique your used to complete the task.
At this stage of my work I have focused on designing the main outline and curved edges. You can see I have focused on angles and curved corners in this pic
You could mention how long something took or how you applied your new skill. What were the steps needed to complete the task.
Mixing the resin only took 1 or 2 minutes after I chose my colour pigments but I had to wait about 24 hours before my resin had fully set before I could remove it from the silicone mould.
When you evaluate your work you need to give feedback. You might want to compare your work with someone else's work or even compare your finished work with your previous designs ideas or CAD models. You could compare your work with an Ai example you made or your friends work.
When I compare my design with my friends I can notice a difference in line quality. I feel that the ghost lines I have applied are lighter and follow the class example but the fine lining of my friend appears smoother and has better control around the edges.
Give feedback about your ideas. Are they the same as your first ideas or did they change as you started working. Do you design ideas look the same as your CAD design or does the finished model look like the CAD model
If I look back to my inspiration poster I was inspired by waves and whales but as shown in my recent design sketches I have adpated my design to sound waves and music. Curves are similar to before but I am now included waves or patterns where the pattern repeats itself
Describe the process of what your did. Were there certain tools or apps you needed to use or perhaps a special type of glue or resin colour you needed
Sketching designs using ghost lines have the best outcomes when the pencil is held at the end and lightly pressed onto the paper. I allow my hand to slide across the table to help steady the pencil getting a smoother line and sketch with the side of the lead avoiding the point which would create a scratching line
Add comments about the outcome. Are you please with your results or can you spot errors or mistakes in what you did. Why do you think the errors or strengths occurred and is there a chance they could happen again.
I am happy with the outline of my design. The shape is correct and I think the curves would be comfortable in the hand but I am not satisfied with the pattern and details on the surface. I will adapt this in the next stage of development to include lines that are more parallel and organized
Adding ideas about what to do next are really important. These ideas might be similar to what you are already doing but you might decide you need to change something to get a different outcome.
Changing the detail and surface pattern is my main goal. I am not happy with the current look in the design above. It makes the model look distorted and I prefer a more symmetrical look
