This Ai chat gathers feedback and asks for reflections and improvments towards design work.
Then asks Ai to produce an image example of a better outcome and reasons why its better.
Asking Ai for support on how to improve design work so that the student can improve their design work.
The student then asks Ai to compare both peices of work (the original and the new Ai version).
The student also gives their summary about what they have learned and their target moving forward.
An example prompt your could ask Ai
Here's my design idea (briefly describe your design or project) Please provide detailed feedback on its strengths, weaknesses, and specific areas for improvement, considering how I have sketches the lines, my pen control outlining and how I have rendered the shadows with the colour pencils. i am not sure if my shading is dark enough of if the design has enough detail.
Please note that I am 12 years old and studying at school, please write your reply for my age and level so its easy to understand.
Asking for feedback.
This is my first prompt that I asked Ai. It is based of the example on the left and I added the photo with the instructions too.
The reply.
The first reply from Ai was really long. It gave some good pointers that I could fully understand and work with but I also asked it if it could summerize the reply in a shorter version... this is what it sent back which is very easy to read and learn from.
The reply giving support on how to achieve better results and the summary by the student.
This is the feedback that Ai gave me when I asked it to compare my work with the new Ai version similar to my design work. I now understand that I should make my shadows darker when I render and push harder with the pencil to achieve this but to get the highlight areas, I should press very lightly or avoid shading thos areas completely leaving the paper white.
Ai also agrees with which design it prefers and supports my ideas about the round edges being safe. i though this was an important feature and am glad Ai spotted the same point as well.
This is the design we both prefer and think is the best design compared to the other ones.

I've attached my (design work photo). I'm looking for criticism on the layout, text box style, color palette, and overall visual appearance of my work. Where do you think it shows strengths, and what changes would you recommend to improve the weak areas - what are the weak areas?
Please write your reply as a short paragraph no longer than 5 sentences.
Please review the outcome of my wooden shapes after cutting. I used a coping saw but i feel the line isn't that straight and as you can see in the photo there are lots of splinters. The edges are rough but I was cutting slowly even though the blade was getting stuck. Was my technique wrong or does this always happen when cutting hard wood with a coping saw?
Please reply using an info diagram of what I was doing wrong and the correct technique. A reply that is short and visual - no long text comments.
Could you evaluate my (CAD model screenshot)? I want to understand if it looks ergonomic enough to be comfortable when holding. It is a gaming controller so it will be held for long periods of time when playing. Point out any design choices that might be a problem with comfort, and suggest ways to improve the ergonomic design shape.
Please write your evaluation no longer than 4 bullet points.
