Turning a poster into an animated GIF can quickly change its appearnce and how people respond to it. It can make a plain poster looks more exciting or catch peoples attention much quicker. This helps people notice your work, or parts of your work making areas stand out. This type of animation can be made in Procreate.

Although this poster is quite simple with just 2 images and plain text, there are small animated areas that catch your attention.
Animated actions can show a process or step clearly in simple, easy to understand ways. This example show how glue needs to be applied.
Step 1 - Import a screenshot of your poster then turn on 'Animation Assist' to start
Step 2 - Add new frames (start with adding 2) then tap the first poster frame and turn on 'background' to lock frame 1
This examples uses only 1 extra frame to create the on-off flash
You can also change colour or tone between each frames
Step 3 - Draw your design onto frame 2 then select frame 3 to draw the second part of the movment. Click play to test the movment action
Step 4 - Save/export your work as an animated GIF and choose your frames per speed to adjust the speed of your GIF. On an iPad you made also need to click 'save image' to added it to your photo album
