Artist statement

My topic is portraits, and I did people who were close to me . I did very basic portraits with a plain background and the person smiling and I cut off after the shoulders. I thought this would leave a story and it not to distracting you see the beauty for what it is

When I processes I used 5.6 with 20 secs. Then we went into a process where we put developer into spray and squirt bottle to add texture to how the photo develops. I also used a paint brush to paint on the developer in my second photo. For my first photo I sprayed it but left the face untouched and then is the squirt bottle to add the drops. For my second photo I used a paint brush first and zig zagged so you can the models face then I used the squirt and the spray around it.

My first photo I took it as a person looking through a widow on a raining day. It doesn't look totally like this but that what I saw. I used the different way to develop so its one of a kind. it can never be made the same again.

My second photo I took the person and paint zig zags over her face. I took this as painted piece of art, there different shade but the same person which is how we need to see life now.
