ARTIST STATEMENT

My subject of my photo is human and trees shadows. The setting is the outdoors by the blue waters. I created this photo by angling the model with the sun to pop out her shadow. I used a model and the natural sunlight and outdoors. I created the photo because I was capturing the natural shadows you see daily. And I like the natural patterns the trees make. I drew out lines to pop out the shadows and the human.

I used high Horizon lines as my composition rules of photography. There is a horizon high up int the photo but is there. My topic is creative doodling so I knew I wanted to shadows for humans to pop out but wanted it to be natural so I used the sunlight.

We were out side taking photos and I snapped this photo and it looks like she is bird watching and I found that unique.
