This year I took both Photography 1 and 2, I started from scratch and now I acknowledge how composition and colors, objects, angles, lighting, all these could have an impact on the image itself. I learned a lot, I work a lot, put in a lot of effort, and in exchange, I gain a lot. Started from the bottom to now it was an overall great experience for me to step forward and it was a great experience too for me to enhance my work.

We were trained for a semester for our digital photography, originally the class was divided into 2, but due to the unfortunate news of COVID-19, we had to make some adjustment to our original schedules, therefore, we had a "digital semester", our class starts with around the topic of concentration, it is an inquiry question that our work should be aimed to work around with. My inquiry question changed from "motion and tech" to "organic and natural", it was a big change, that was because later I found out even though I have tried to make my image more "motion", but every time the image seems to relate to some kind of landscape, and I rarely do a portrait. Therefore, I decided to give "landscape" a try. Throughout the first quarter, we were given many prompt, at the beginning, the hands, feet, and the earlier project, I use a heavy amount of photoshopping, that is because I've experience of using photoshop and I wanted to combine with my creativity. Talking about creativity, I still remember that we're asked to have some word to describe ourself, I choose creative, maybe that was what fuel me from keep using photoshop to enhance my work. One project that I remember the most was the reflection one, that was the work I am most proud of, even though it was very easy, it only took me a few steps, but the time it came out, I was like, this is it, this is something that amazes me, in photography, I could find the best side of my art. Later this semester, we're asked to do photojournalism for COVID-19 edition, and I put in efforts to make every prompt and image look as prevalent to the topic of safety and what has been affected, and maybe that was something our photo is about, it could have any purpose. My skill improved a lot from this class, my understanding of photography was shaped differently after this class, after a lot of work and effort, I would like to thank Mrs. Medsker for her excellent teaching.

Something that I learned from this class was precious, in this class, the trait of creative keep influence and guide me down the road of art and photography, without it I wouldn't have to go this far in the field. Because of I had to be creative, I had to find new ideas, Because of I had to be creative, I had to learn more from other people, because of I had to be creative, I need to ask for other people to advise, because of I had to be creative, I had to look for some way that stands my work out, because of I had to be creative, I had to revise my work and improve it again and again. Because I use creativity to help me throughout the semester, I feel proud of all of my effort and work from the bottom of my heart.
