Mix Media

This is my drawing on mix media, I finished it with ink and charcoal, for some reason my art's background was all about charcoal shading, so most part of this drawing is charcoal, a little part of ink, for this drawing I used from light to dark, to show the value of the light, to make my drawing more realistic, and somehow, compared to my photo you can visually see the different and the similar.

I used grid to draw the photo, because I need to enlarge it, when I was doing that I calculate step by step, and finished with a 1.5 inches border on the side of paper (I cropped it). Also, the grid drawing, I drew grid to grid, using papers or other stuff to block it, so it is easier for me to finish it.

I add my personal emotion in it, that means I learn something, this is somehow related to my life. I changed the drawing from backgrounding, people commented that I have no background, but the shading makes it a light to dark transform, this drawing is related to me as I took the photo.
