Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. It will give you a sense of the values we hold at Meridian and the opportunities our students are offered as they go through their upper school years. Our vision for them all is that they grow into happy, successful young adults who are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to life in the 21st century.

Meridian is in a period of exciting change. As Headteacher, I am excited by the potential of how we can grow as a school community. I believe we have firm foundations to build on our achievements. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we were recognised as being ‘a community in which all can succeed’ and where students have ‘good attitudes to learning’. Over the coming months, we will continue to focus on three of the seven values that we aspire to, helping our students continue to grow and develop further:

We look forward to working in partnership with our students, parents and carers and the local community; in particular, we look forward to working with our middle schools to continue to drive improvements for young people in Royston.
