* identify the main idea and key details in an informational text (ELA)

*find information using a variety of text features (ELA)

*write a two-paragraph essay about why and how scientists explore the sea (ELA)

*spell and read words with vowel-consonant-e syllable exceptions (Fundations)

*write cursive lower-case d and g (Fundations)

*solve one-step word problems using metric measurements of mass (math)

*read a thermometer and solve problems using the measurements (math)

*round to the nearest ten and hundred using a vertical number line (math)

*complete an experiment demonstrating scientific process skills (science)

*describe how animals and plants resemble characteristics of their parents (science)

*participate in the Fire Safety House after a safety demonstration by the Rocky River Fire Department
