App Requests

Below is a list of apps, websites, and tools that are under review, have been approved, or are non-compliant based on their educational quality and student privacy policy. You may search the list by resource name, purpose, status, tool type, and/or intended users by using the filters at the top of the list.

If you do not see an app, website, or tool you want to use on the list, please fill out the RUSD Request for Educational Apps form and we will look into it as soon as possible.

RUSD's App Approval Process

Rowland Unified uses a multi-tiered app approval process to ensure that apps, websites, and tools used by educators meet rigorous educational standards, as well as comply with all federal and state privacy laws. The approval process is detailed below:

  1. Check the searchable table above to see if the app, website, or tool you are interested in requesting has already been submitted for review.

  2. If it has not been submitted for review, fill out the RUSD Request for Educational Apps form.

  3. Once the form is submitted, the district edtech team will review it for federal and state privacy laws and educational quality.

  4. If the request meets all federal and state privacy laws and passes the educational quality review, the app will be made available for teacher and/or student use.

The video below will also show you the process from start to finish, including how to fill out the form and searching the CSDPA website for the requested tool.
