• 6th and 7th graders

Is this considered an elective class?

• Yes, this is one choice of many.

Why would a student want to take Discovery?

• If your student needs help in adjusting to middle school or learning about tools to help be successful, then this is the class for your student.

• If your student wants to learn about a wide variety of topics and choose topics to discover

Is there homework?

• Most of our work is completed in class, however there may be a time when a project needs to be completed outside of class.

What is the grading policy?

• Grades are broken into two categories: Daily/Quizzes - 50% and Assessments/Projects - 50%

What are the expectations?

• Expectations include active participation, asking questions, desire to help themselves and completing activities on time.
